Help Bolivian pastors living in poverty

Many Bolivian pastors serving in full-time ministry live with their families in single rooms, some without bath facilities. Many cannot afford basic healthcare for their families, and some have no access to potable water.

Every week, these pastors bring the Word to as many as 10 churches in their respective districts. They work far more than 40 hours a week ministering, visiting their church members, performing the sacraments, and training the local lay pastors.

One pastor preaches to five congregations in an Amazon village so remote, it takes several days on dirt roads to get to the capital city. Another must walk a day and a half between his churches.

Methodists from Oklahoma and all over the country are working to develop this Bolivian Pastors' Fund.

With this fund, we hope to be able to empower the Methodist Church of Bolivia and provide them with the support they need to get additional pastors ordained.
